Decent app. But one shortcoming bugs me. When scrolling the Top Stories, and when I find one that interests me in the list, I select it to read the story in full. When finished, the app does not bring me back to where I left off. instead, it brings me back to the top of the Top Stories page, forcing me to scroll back down to where I left off. This seems like a pretty glaring and obvious shortcoming that I'm surprised hasn't been addressed.

The night mode issue is fixed. However, the most recent update appears to have broken the app's ability to remember how far down you have scrolled before you click on an article to read it. Now when you close the article it takes you to the very top again. Which means you then have to scroll all the way back down. --- Please stop with the constant "Would you like to enable Night Mode" pop-ups. Once this is fixed, I'll change my rating.

Thank you for the detailed feedback. We're sorry for the frustration with the feed resetting to the top after reading an article. Our app team is aware of this issue on Android devices and is working toward a resolution. We appreciate your patience and will provide an update when one is available.

I like this app. but it now refuses to work. to preface, I was a daily user, mostly for the crossword. but for the past month the app immediately closes after flashing a window that my Play Store / Google service needs an update. now, all my services are fully updated but it simply refuses to launch the app. I am using a OnePlus phone with ColorOS, so maybe this is just not allowed for a Chinese device even if a user is outside of china? a shame as I quite like the app :( 5 stars awaiting
