I've just downloaded the app for my '14 XC70 T6. When entering the VIN, the app says it supports all models from 2001, which works fine. Then I want to view my car manual, which it doesn't because only the latest models are selectable. Yes, the car's 10 years old, but what's the difficulty to add some more MY's to the range. Awaiting feedback.

The app is basically a remote dashboard. In addition to maintenance needs, if any. The remote start option is nice but falls short because the climate can't be controlled. My biggest disappointment is the apparent removal of the remote lock/unlock function. It was convenient when I needed to let someone use my vehicle and leave my keys inside. Anyway, Volvo cars is an app I wouldn't pay money for.

So far so good. Using with a 2021 Volvo XC40 Recharge. Nice clean app. Edit: I still like the app but I believe this is causing issues with RCS. I get messages in the car and can reply while driving but if I check the message thread on my phone, my messages are not listed. I believe it is an issue with how the app is sending sms instead of a RCS reply.
