About this app

The Skinny Jump app makes it easy to manage your account – check your balance, top up and renew your Skinny Jump plan when you’re on the go.

*****Handy tips for getting the app setup*****

If you are new to Skinny Jump to set up this app you will need to enter the broadband number from your Skinny Jump modem. To receive your Skinny Jump modem and to register for Skinny Jump you need to visit a local Jump partner before downloading this app. To find your nearest partner check out www.skinny.co.nz/jump/. The broadband number can be found at the back or underneath the Skinny Jump modem.

If you are an existing Skinny Jump customer you need to Sign Up to set up the app, your username and password can be the same as your current sign in, but these are not linked.

*****About the app*****

1. Manage your account with the Skinny Jump app:
Activate your Skinny Jump modem and get connected
2. Top up your account using a voucher or a new card.
3. Renew your Skinny Jump plan- up to 6 times each month.
4. Check your balance to see how much data you have, and how much more you can use.

Use the app and start making the most of it. The app is free, but just a heads up: You’ll use a little bit of data downloading it, so be savvy and hook into some Wi-Fi if you’re running low on data.

The App doesn't work on my phone Like many others I'd like to give a negative star review. Ran out of data today. Went to top up. Wouldn't accept my password to access dashboard even though I never changed it. Spent no less than 1 hour in live chat to try to resolve the issue. The guy changed the password for me but it's still NOT WORKING! No wifi for long weekend as unable to access dashboard to top up! Have never been impressed with Skinny customer service and it seems to be on the decline.

Kia ora justme33126, we sincerely apologize for the troubles you've had with the app. I can see that you have contacted our team and still facing challenges. We recommend you to check you are on the latest version of the app 1.0.7 on your playstore or reinstall your app.

Used to be great!Now... Very frustrating, have been trying to access the data page on my app for the last 3 days by uninstalling and reinstalling. And still it takes me only to a page to sign up.. it says login here below that but that doesn't even work. I've sent emails 2 times previously and been told to uninstall/reinstall (which worked the first time previously); to go to the login at the bottom the second time but that wasn't even functioning. How else can I access my data information?

What rubbish. You already have an account, but you have to create an account to use the app. They even suggest that you use the same login and password. So you start and find there are 7 steps to go through. Hit the step asking for details of the router and the example showing the numbers they want bears no relationship to the details on the router. These guys probably call themselves IT Professionals. And yet they clearly have done no user testing. And of course there is nobody to talk to.

Hi Mike, yes, it's a bit confusing and we are making changes to clarify what needs to happen. We had many lovely customer testers who helped us. In a couple of days time, please Log In (now you have completed email/password you don't do Sign Up again) and complete the steps, it will be worth the effort. Thanks for your feedback.
