Ratings and reviews

Wow, AccuWeather. You went from 5 stars to 2 stars because you took away the list view option for the hourly forecast. I need to know the percentage chance of rain, not interpret a little bar at the bottom of the screen with color coding. And I also need to see and vertically (not horizontally) scroll through a couple of days ahead like your app used to offer. I work way too much to deal with a lack of these options. Searching for a new weather app.

I paid for a lifetime subscription to be free of ads. Now they have premium Plus. The app randomly disables the list view when viewing the hourly weather. They offer a graph view instead. I have to uninstall and reinstall it to use the list view that I prefer. They are getting aggressive in pressuring me into subscribing to Premium Plus. I DON'T APPRECIATE IT. At times, it's not reliable. It'll be raining outside and the app states no rain projected for an hour.

Now, despite my having previously purchased the premium version, I get ads at the top of the hourly display recommending upgrading to their monthly premium+ subscription. Waste of screen space. Considering ditching AccuWeather altogether despite my premium purchase. At least they changed where the "last used" hourly display sticks (the list version is better than the graph version; shows more info at a glance and doesn't require a monthly subscription to get to all the data).

What's new

*Extended Hourly and Daily Forecasts: Now you can take the long view of the weather. We’ve extended our Hourly Air Quality Graph from 72 to 96 hours and all other hourly graphs (and the list view) to a staggering 240 hours, or 10 days, ahead. We’ve also extended our 45-Day forecast to 90 days. Plan bigger and better, for every hour and every season.
