It's a lot of fun, but very time consuming. Once you unlock certain difficulty modifiers some runs may take up to 2 hours or even more. Which would not be bad if there was a way to safely interrupt them. Unfortunately there is no possibility to pause a run in game, so you can just hope the last autosave is kind to you. I've had cases where I was at level 3-5 or something and was reset to the middle of chapter 2 after picking it up again. Very frustrating.

I wish they had finished the game before stopping development on it. Makes the season pass feel like a rip off. Don't get me wrong, they made a fun game, but end game balancing is horrible, some of the modifiers are horribly implemented and lazy copy&paste. It's pretty clear there was a drop in sales, saw they weren't going to capture more of the market, and just dropped it for their next project. It's a shame to see as I have all 3 of their games and was happy with the other two and the prices.

For a paid app, yes this game is worth it. I didn't expect to spend this much time on the game and it is very fun. It takes a bit to navigate through the game and understanding monster synergy + team building + picking heroes etc..but casual gamers should easily beat the initial hard stages in the game without much issue. I enjoy the game so much that I ended up paying a bit of cosmetics in the shop. Wish the devs continue to develop this game to give harder stages.
