the app does not hold the last point in a book to start from the same point. it jumps backward and forward after the phone goes to sleep. it plays without prompt. it still has a lot of bugs, plus I discontinued subscription within the trial period, yet was charged for a whole year and wasn't refunded by Google. I thought I would use it at least for the period I have paid for, but the app kills the joy of listening

I found The Only Pirate at the Party the book I was looking for, but it wasn’t the full version. Instead of Lindsey Stirling’s original first-person storytelling, this version is in third-person and just gives summaries. It doesn’t feel the same, and on top of that, the prices are way too high. If you want the real experience, you’re better off getting the actual hardcover.

Sorry , we only offer the summary format.

The only thing that I find distracting is that sometimes words have two different pronunciations based on whether a given part of speech is a noun or a verb. (e.g., record or perfect). Perhaps the voice of the AI voice of the reader doesn't comprehend the pronunciation(s) based on context; I hope that the technology will improve over time. Also in the case of some acronyms, it attempts the pronounce it as a word instead of saying the letters that make up the name of a diagnosis.
