Wow this is a new low. HBO removed my review. I actually have a screen cap of the notification. Review: App crashes and looses connection on Chromecast ever time I put my phone down. Skipping forward or backwards lags for almost a full minute. The app doesn't hold preferences, I have to turn on CC every time I start a show. Also the app keeps pushing, by pop-up, shows I have already watched.

Constantly pauses while streaming. I have no issues with other streaming apps, just hbo. Can't believe I have to pay $16 a month for this. Update: after following the trouble shooting provided by HBO tech support, there has been no improvement with the streaming. I use several other streaming services and never encounter the problems I have with HBO Max. I use their app through my phone and tv and both constantly have issues. I initially gave this 2 stars but now I'm lowering it to one star.

I have been having a ton of problems with this app taking an enormously long time to load, then giving me no option to add movies to my list nor stream them straight from the home screen. Even if I go to my list to movies I've previously added before experiencing these problems, I still cannot stream them. It can take some times upwards to 2 to 5 minutes for it the thing to even load. Overall, it's kind of a miserable experience and I would hope that developers would fix this soon.
