I loved the first game, and this one might be better. It looks similar but there are more and more interesting mechanics to discover. Many ideas which started in the first game are here but fully realised. The story and other reading elements are well written. I think the bosses are more fun, more interesting tactical interactions, and they feel less unfair. The only point which may or may not be an upgrade is that this game holds your hand way more than the first game.

Honestly, guys, you made another banger with this title. The second game changes the formula for how you gather and use resources and new tabs as well. I haven't played this game for too long yet, but I can see me sinking a week or more straight into this game. I have been enjoying every second of it. Keep up the good work, people.

A very engaging strategy idle game. Sometimes I'm glued to the screen figuring puzzles out, and other times I'm letting the game run all of my beautiful automations on its own. This game (and the first Magic Research) and very fun and unique. Worth every cent.
