Bought yesterday and will be the returning controller, paying $80-$100 for a controller is steep, but reasonable enough. What is not acceptable is charging people $40 a year for a service that actually makes your product compatible with games that don't have native controller support. That's the ENTIRE point of paying a premium price for the device in the first place. Without giving them an extra 40 dollars, you're 100% better off buying a cheaper 20-30 dollar device that does the same thing.

Return your controller. They've locked basic functionality of the device behind a subscription. You literally cannot use a built in feature of your physical controller without a subscription. EDIT: In response to the dev, built in functionality of a device should never be a subscription feature. The ability to use your control on PC and other devices should not be blocked by a premium tier. You're sending the wrong message to your consumers. This device was expensive as is.

"Device Emulation" isn't a built-in feature of the hardware. Out of the box, the controller is configured to work on the target platform with both the in-handle port as well as pass-through port to ensure you have options when using the controller for its intended purpose. That said, I have brought your concerns to our product team for review.

Updated info, review is largely the same as before about customization options from couple months ago. 1 star now because all of the following are locked behind a subscription. Still can't manually add all apps. Play on any screen setting now locked behind subscription. TouchSync feature is only supported on specific games with no way to map your own. The Razer Kishi Nexus app has this for free and is more in-depth which featured these core *read specifically* basic *software* features.
