About this app

Given an exposure (Aperture, Shutter speed, ISO), allows calculating equivalent exposures - set 2 new parameters (a combination of Aperture, Shutter and ISO) and the 3rd parameter is automatically calculated.

It is also possible to add up to 3 ND filters of up to 30 stops each to the calculations, handy for those long exposure photographs to blur water and clouds.

The app also includes a timer for exposures of 4 seconds or longer.

Main features:
 • calculates Shutter, Aperture or ISO
 • aperture range from f1.0 to f360
 • shutter range from 480s to 1/16,000s
 • ISO range from ISO 0.4 to ISO 3.2M
 • ND filter up to 30 stops, in 1, 1/2 or 1/3 stop increments
 • up to 3 stacked ND filters
 • ND filter modes: stop, density, ND number
 • bulb mode (up to 24h)
 • reverse filter search mode
 • ND filter calibration mode
 • timer for exposures of 4s or longer with alarm
 • night mode with 4 overlay colors
 • optional compensation wheel to account for reciprocity failure
 • unlimited number of presets
 • free and ad free

Note: in the Shutter settings section there is a switch tor camera type. This switch simply selects how a small set of shutter speeds around 1 second are displayed, choose the one your camera adheres to. Exposure calculations work for all camera makes, this switch is simply for display purposes.

Great app. I fly drones and when I manually set frame rates and shutter speeds to 30fps and 1/60, I have to use ND filters. Instead of guessing how many stops are necessary for that particular exposure, I can bring along a camera where I can determine correct shutter speeds based on the histogram. Now, I can convert shutter speed to ND stops. No more guessing. I don't have to bring back the drone just to change ND filters. I can get it right first time out.

Very responsive. I reported an issue with the app and they immediately responded in a timely fashion and created a solution within a week that made the app even better. Can't say enough about that kind of support.

Simple, functional, packed with useful features, no ads. Pretty much a must-have for calculating long exposures and such. The night mode is a life saver in the dead of night. As for suggestions, I wish there was an option to go beyond 1/32k, because there's cams like the a9iii that can do 1/80k of a second. If I could give more than five stars, I would have.

What’s new

We've been doing some spring cleaning!

We updated our dependencies—think of it as giving our app a fresh pair of shoes. It should feel a bit snappier now.

We also said goodbye to some old, dusty code. It served us well, but it was time for it to retire.

And that's it! No new bells or whistles, just a healthier, happier app.
