* Loan Rate: 24% APR (yearly rate) or 2% per month ( 24% ÷ 12 months) or 0.06575% per day (24% ÷ 365 days)
For example, if the loan period is 90 days and the loan amount (principal) is KSh 10,000, the service fee for 90 days would be 0.0657534% per day x 90 days = 5.9178%. This would translate to a APR of 24%. The loan amount (principal) would be KSh 10,000. The total service fee would be KSh 10,000 x 5.918% = KSh 591.78. The total cost (amount due) supposed to pay back at the end of the loan term (after 90 days) would be KSh 10,000 (principal) + KSh 591.78(service fee) = KSh 10,591.78
