An investments application from Halyk Finance, subsidiary of Halyk Bank Kazakhstan, the leading financial group and the leading retail bank in Kazakhstan with the most extensive customer base and distribution network. The application functionality includes onboarding and online opening of brokerage accounts in Halyk Finance JSC, securities trading on stock exchanges, such as KASE, AIX, NYSE, LSE, brokerage account refill through acquiring system and withdrawal of funds to the personal bank accounts. The App provides you also the opportunity to participate in KazMunayGas IPO. Halyk Finance application provides access to online trading of equities (incl. their ADRs and GDRs) and bonds of leading Kazakhstani and international companies from different sectors of economics. This application gives possibility to sell and buy of ETFs of bonds and equities. The application also delivers actual news of stock markets and top-ranked analytics from Research team of Halyk Finance JSC and third-party providers. Trading through Halyk Finance application is secured by complex of measures, incl. biometric identification of potential customers, Face or/and Touch ID for access to the application, use of OTP-codes to confirm trading operations.

Ratings and reviews

Video verification does not work. Have no idea why. But that is OK. I push YES when APP proposes me to speak to the operator. After I press YES, I get a message that something went wrong. I tried 8 times. Gave up Overall, you need to work on Video verification. If you fix it, I will try again

Usability for non KZ users is poor as It only supports KZ local SIMs (buying a KZ SIM and keeping them active is a PITA, even then, sms for 2fa is weak for security). Aside from that it also doesn't support google authenticator for 2fa, which is a glaring omission in todays world! 😕

The app itself is very good for investing. There are a lot of stocks, but the main downside for me is to convert the currency.

Market and Portfolio tabs are optimized for accelerated downloading. List of documents for non-residents brokerage account set-up is added. Restrictions on the minimum order for purchase are applied. Calculation of bonds amount is corrected. System bugs are fixed.
