Ratings and reviews

Does not rely on translation like Duolingo but direct concept from pictures. This seems like a more natural way to learn. However the efficiency of covering vocabulary is slow. I'm not a paying customer so perhaps there is more I'm not seeing but fundamentally, Duolingo is faster to gain vocab. Neither is perfect and both are obviously continually trying to improve. I would like to see adaptive tests, vocab check-offs so we can skip what we already know and stop repetition when not necessary

I bought the membership because I joined a learning group that all uses RS. It definitely feels like deeper learning than other apps. I surprise myself with the intuition I'm building. I had an issue where a lesson froze and I had to reinstall the app, which was annoying, but it worked. sometimes the text seems too small for mobile, but there's a lot of content that's packed into the exercises. so if it's hard to read small, if recommend using a bigger screen to practice.

App is not responding to all touches. I cannot have the app repeat a Japanese phase I am supposed to say out loud. The play buttons just don't seem to work. I often have to tap a picture 5-10 times before it registers. I don't have this issue with any other app I have installed. Mobile implementation seems very rough around the edges. I'm in a One Plus 8T with current patching.
