This app is amazing! It has so many features but still manages to keep a clean and modern looking UI. A few features that caught my eye include support for synced lyrics, offline support, widgets, a highly customable interface, giving songs ratings, and Android Auto support. It also gives me plenty of technical information when I want to see it. Note that this app is paid (about $5 for a lifetime license), but it gives you a two week trial and was totally worth the money for me.

I've used PowerAmp for years (good app). However, Symfonium has finally edged it out for best Android music player. Symfonium can stream music from local, lan, upnp, cloud, and so on. The DSP is on par with PowerAmp. It can parse multiple genres and artists with whatever delimiter you tell it to. Smart playlists are awesome. Like the current artist or album? Click to queue it next then return to your previous list. The interface is clean highly customizable. This is priced low for the features.

Symfonium has almost completely replaced PowerAmp for me (an app that I've used extensively for the past 10 years). Being able to stream music from my own Subsonic server is great, and the app looks professional while having plenty of options for UI customization and presentation. Would be nice to see extras such as visualizers and an Android TV app someday (currently there's only SonicLair for Android TV). But the continued refinement and support for Symfonium already makes the app worthwhile
