I've used their meat thermometer for a couple of years now and do a lot of overnight and throughout the day while I work cooking. The new app has major connectivity problems and maybe functions 10% of the time as long as your phone is only about a 1' away with no obstructions. Gone is my ability to actually be able to check my temp remotely aka the whole flipping reason I bought the unit! Junk.

Cool when it works. Way too often it just doesn't work right. It doesn't send notifications when temps go out of range, which is honestly 90% of the entire reason for having these things. Doesn't help when something is out of temp range and I don't know about it until I physically get there. What's the point of WiFi if it won't notify?? And now it refuses to show me temp trend diagrams, which is the other 10% of the reason for using these things.

Update from 2 to 3 stars: figured out I had to save the csv to Google drive Bluetooth is weak. I don't use my phone because if I move too far away the connection drops and I lose all the data. Instead I use a tablet on a table set up at the wall in the living room closest to the grill. Turned off the alarms because they're just obnoxious and a PITA to set up. It monitors the temperature of both my grill and the meat well, though.
