2 features would save a lot of headaches: 1) Set default voice. I have to reset the voice I use every time because it always reverts to the same default voice when switching to a new article. It's tedious. 2) Loop feature For my purposes, it would help a lot. Also generally I would say the voices are somewhat robotic and bland, given the current state of AI I think the standard should be that they sound more expressive. Other than that, it's a great app.

1) Such feature exists. Based on your description I would assume that there is some sort of item language to item voice conflict which revert things. But without some context I can't help more than that. 2) May come in future. 3) Microsoft AI voices can be setup in the voices dialog.

This app is bugged on my s22 Ultra. Every time I click on settings, the voice randomly changes. Also, the voice will suddenly change throughout the reading. It's also hard to distinguish which voice to choose from as they're all basically named the same thing in a large voice list from your phone, so it's difficult to find the ones you like unless you memorize the exact spot. While I appreciate the owner's efforts, how can you not expect people to leave bad reviews if it doesn't work properly?

The voices are provided by Google's app on your phone Speech Recognition & Synthesis and they do have the worst name scheme ever, agree with that. I don't expect people to know that this Google app isn't working properly on their device and I do expect them to leave the bad review because of that. Fair enough?

This app wows me. I am Dyslexic and accessibility professional and use my phone's reading features all the time. This is the ONE that you need. It's almost perfect. There are so many features I've NEVER seen in a reading app. You can create an audio book file, export to a docx file, and it uses super-high-quality voices that even Google doesn't offer in Play Books. Reading apps on Android have always been lacking in features. I was SO happy to find a good, accessibility focused app!
