UI is nice & polished but function is like an unfinished student project. Speech recognition is poor. If it catches right, AI breaks it down as if you said a different sentence! Utterly unhelpful. AI's programmed to gaslight. Only 1 mode of learning feels limiting. The expandable breakdown of the AI partner statements are great. But no similar breakdown of user statements is an oversight. Also the AI partner refuses to recognize that I'm a male or them as female as it's set in parameters.

I downloaded this for a free alternative to a similar app I was using that just became subscription only. A decent start, but room for improvement. Just in my first conversation in Swedish, my conversation partner combined Swedish, English, Korean, and at least one other language, and the translation was similarly unreadable. The feedback after the conversation then criticized its own mistakes as though they were my own.

Cancellation process is ridiculous and requires going to website, then getting an email, then confirming by replying to the email - no confirmation, nothing. UGH. Also, app is NOT polished, it was sending me JSON data as chat messages after just a few minutes of using it. They say it's fixed but it ISN'T. Feels really sus to make users go through so much just to cancel. The voice recognition is so-so.
