Just ... WOW. Perhaps a year ago I used e-Sword on my PC, but you know we can't take the time to open our computers every time we want to read words of life, so perhaps a month ago I thought I would try it for Android. I am extremely impressed. The basic app is amazing and easy to use, with great tools for memorization, notes, devotions, references, and more, but I have also purchased additional devotionals, commentaries, and Bible versions. This app puts a spark back in reading God's Word

NO PERMISSIONS REQUIRED. SAFE TO USE! It may cost a few bucks but it is well worth it. The only feature that needs work is continuous reading when Bible is reading to you in background mode. Right now once a chapter is finished you must turn on phone for it to continue to next chapter. Has split screen, resources, tags, highlights, etc... ENJOY!

It's great to see e-Sword on mobile platform. Kudos to the developer for this great effort. This app works really well, though there are a few subtle bugs that need to be ironed out. I love every feature of this app, the same way I love the PC software. It's really incredible. Hopefully, this app will get a sync feature to help synchronise with it's PC counterpart. And an "Audio-Bible" feature would come in handy too, just like we have it on PC. Update: Audio Bible now available😃 Thank you Rick
