If you play more than one of my Ancient Games, I suggest you delete the individual apps and install this one. It will allow you to play them all and save disk storage.

The past is full of fascinating board games that haves been mostly forgotten. The Ancient Games collection aims to resurrect them as a meticulously crafted mix between what a player wants from an historical game and what he/she expects of a modern application.

Currently, the collection is comprised of four games : the Royal Game of Ur, Senet, XII Scripta and Puluc, but 40 games are in the works!
Each game will be added to the Ancient Games app and will have its own individual app as well.

Ratings and reviews

It's like a forerunner of Backgammon, Parchesi, Sorry, etc. An in-game tutorial on not only play but how to navigate through the options would be nice, but rules are simple & the strategy can get intriguing. I accidentally abandoned a few games when first trying to figure out how to get back in after changing the board appearance. It has different variants of rules. Lots of different boards and options. Many are locked. The free version's ok but long ads between games.

Very clean style and fun games. I've noticed a few bugs including: All set previews' name being replaced by "amphrodisias set" after one game or two, whilst not showing properly the models. And sometimes the game doesn't recognizing victory/lose resulting in a bugged infinite game that can't exit via the abandon buttom. The shop UI could also use more directions and clean up

Excellent collection of old games. The only downside is that the menu and unlock system can be a little confusing. The difference between keys and coins and tokens still eludes me. That being said, online play is quite useful - I have some friends who play and this has been lovely when we are apart. However, it is otherwise empty - setting up these games with my friends is the only time I've ever seen other players online.
