Hardware easy to install. The app not so easy. Couldn't figure how to connect to wifi because the instruction does not mention you need to turn on GPS on the phone. I've to return and order a second lock to figure that out because I thought the Wifi bridgewasn't working and googling yields zero answer. Hope this helps someone.

Yale connect bridge is the largest problem here. The range is nonexistent, I had it a few feet from the router and it can't connect. Bluetooth range is no better. The lock itself connects with Bluetooth so slowly I just use the keypad. Don't buy Yale or August since they share the same technology. If a module goes bad, the lock can't be removed from the app. This is because the app needs to connect with the module that no connects to the app.

App is terrible. Never had an issue when using the Yale lock with the amazon key app. The Yale app is bad. Can't connect to the lock no matter where I am. The app doesn't show activity for weeks at a time. Very unsettling when away. I keep hoping to see an update to the app. Nope. Frustrating. I have a Schlage Encode at another property and am ready to swap out the Yale at this point. If I can't connect and check status while away, it defeats the purpose of having this.
