Since the new update, the app doesn't connect camera to both my husband's and my phone. The app says the camera cannot connect but it is actually the app issue because camera and sock are both connected and send data to the app. We bought the sock + camera like 8 months ago and something went wrong less than 1 year. We contacted the customer service and got the camera replaced. I was able to use the app again less than a day, and then it stopped working. We use relatively new phones (android).

This app is so maddening. When it works, it's great. The picture in picture is great. But it hangs constantly or loses connection with the camera, so I have to close and reopen the app throughout the day to get it to work again. we just use the camera. Video quality is fine but the audio can be spotty at times. Overall just feels like a really rough app for such an expensive product.

I'm so conflicted about this product. For a "proof of life" feature while you & your baby sleep, it's a 10/10. We had so much less anxiety thanks to the sock and the alerts Owlet provides. However, as an app and baby monitoring product, it's broken. The camera freezes or doesn't load (iOS & Android). It also requires 2.4ghz Wifi which isn't a big deal until you travel and have to hack around multi-phone hotspotting or other "solutions" while the app crashes during setup.
