This app is so bad that I would never buy a carrier product again. Takes several seconds before you can do anything in the app. Sometimes I change the temperature and nothing happens on the unit. The units randomly ignore the schedules. The app and units randomly switch back to Celsius even though I have it set to Fahrenheit. Takes several taps to change even simple things in a schedule. Demands location permissions even though all it does with it is display the weather. It's just terrible.

This is a very disappointing app. This is the only way to control our new split system. It is supposed to do “everything a thermostat does”. It does not. The “schedule” function does not work. You cannot have a different setpoint for heat and cooling. If you want to cool to 78 - it is also heats to 78. There are no instructions, no help menu - and no way to contact anyone for help The contractors' solution is to add a thermostat - for another $1,000…

Got a carrier mini split system. I have had the wifi option for a few days. Everything was working fine. Set up schedules. And relax. Now, a few days later. I go to open the setting window. So thet I could access to their app and postpone one of the scheduled tasks. And all the apps does, is force close the app.
