The Carrier Service Technician app brings residential and commercial technician tools together in one Carrier experience. Whether you’re standing in front of a residential unit or covering commercial sites and equipment, the app is built for how technicians actually work on the job.

Use the same Carrier sign-in you already have. Your role and permissions carry over, so you see the sites, equipment, and content you’re authorized to access—no new account, no new password.

Ratings and reviews

Very buggy and randomly doesn't recognize model numbers. Part lookup not user friendly. Forced updates when opening the program while working on equipment makes this nearly worthless. Usually use this with guest option. They are pushing making an account for ability to work on new equipment, but need to call in to set up account.

I can never get this app to connect to the equipment, when it does connect it quickly disconnects.

It's nice to have a go to for references and quick ideas. But I don't want to have to rely on an app to diagnose equipment. The thought of that is ridiculous and it just adds more work for the technician to keep up with. That generally aren't getting paid enough in this field. And with all the changes with the high pressure and the flammability. I would expect to see technicians pay almost double in the next couple of years. If they want to. Continue using apps
