It's a fun and addicting free game for the first 40 or so levels, then comes the bait-and-switch where a loud, repetitive, virtually unskippable ad plays after every level (even if you go back to replay previous levels). There is no option to pay for ad removal, despite this game having existed for at least a decade with many requests for such.

Game is fun for the first 40ish or so levels. The beginning has a lot fun and satisfying puzzles to solve. After those the difficulty increases dramatically. A lot of puzzles require that you get a lucky peg distribution, or just hope the game gives you lucky bounces (57). It doesn't help that the difficulty spike is when ads start getting shoved into your face.

There's so much wrong here. The first 40 or so levels are ad free and easy to progress through, but once you get further into the game, you get an ad after every level and the levels are deliberately made very difficult to force you to buy power-ups. It's such a shame, because in those early levels, it's super fun. The game mechanics are interesting, the characters are great, and the sound design is excellent. I would've happily paid $5 to remove ads if the game wasn't intentionally predatory.
