About this app

Capture the moment, set preliminary levels, and share children’s “Aha!” moments with their families directly from the MyTeachingStrategies® app!

With MyTeachingStrategies®, you can:

Capture photos, videos, and text notes.

Tag your capture with objectives, dimensions, and preliminary ratings.

Share captured documentation with families while simultaneously uploading it to MyTeachingStrategies®!

Track attendance for children and staff.

Create daily reports for record keeping and parent communication.

Security/Confidentiality

To maintain security and confidentiality, all documentation captured in the app remains within the app until sent to Tadpoles®/MyTeachingStrategies®. Any photos or videos taken within the app will not mix with your personal camera roll. Files captured using the app cannot be sent anywhere other than to Tadpoles®/MyTeachingStrategies®.

Who Can Use This App
This app is designed for use with the MyTeachingStrategies® platform. This app is available for Teaching Strategies customers that have both a MyTeachingStrategies® account and a Tadpoles® account. Teaching Strategies customers without a Tadpoles® account should use the new Teaching Strategies Teacher mobile app.

Had some trouble recently with documentation through the mobile app. I upload a picture and it loads fine, but when I go to post another picture, the app won't let me select any children so I have to shut the app down and log back in to post a picture again. Videos show up as a still image so I can't really tell if a video is being sent or a thumbnail of the video. Frequent crashes. I always clear the cache and close the app and still have these issues.

We use the app on an iPad at my job. The screen is always glitching so that the "nap" and "note" buttons disappear unless you turn it sideways or restart. But the biggest complaint we have is the messaging feature. It often doesn't let us see what we are typing, and in addition to that it will spontaneously send the messages before we are done so we end up sending an incomplete mess of a sentence. So many apps have a messaging feature and are way easier to use. Fix this please!

One of the worst apps available in any category and an obvious poorly-ported iOS app. Kids randomly disappear when the tablet rotates, notes don't push to notify, incredibly laggy, freezes up and gets stuck on "need help stuck" flag all the time, tablets don't sync with one another most of the time, in-app camera doesn't use device hardware parameters, video uploads are constantly freezing the app, the app crashes to homepage regularly, overlays often get stuck when typing descriptions.

As part of routine maintenance, Teaching Strategies regularly updates our mobile apps to ensure we are delivering products that meet the needs of our customers. This new release includes new Demo School capabilities, including:
