I have 2 vivatar wireless smart plugs, I use them when we go out of town to turn the lamps on and off to make it look like someone is at home. Well as we prepare to depart next week, I am spending the weekend setting up my cameras and smart plugs, but after a 1 hour plus the Viv Smart Security 2 App keeps crashing so setup is incomplete! I can not find a fix for this anywhere on the internet. The app keeps stating to clear the cache and restart, 20 + times, and it's still not working!!!

I downloaded this app to view the wi-fi camera I purchased. Setup was fairly simple and it worked great, until I closed it and went to bed. This morning the app either will not open or immediately gives a message that an error occurred and to clear the cache. I have done that, restarted the app, restarted my phone, restarted my router, unplugged and re-plugged the power to the camera, everything could think of and nothing works. Incredibly frustrated!

It used to work well. I was able to customize alerts, check in on pets and children, and communicate with them while I was away. Picture quality was clear and the ability to add an SD card to save video was convenient. Now, every time I try to open the app, it either closes immediately, tells me to clear the cache or upload the log then crashes, or displays a notification test alert then crashes/closes. Unable to use the device now.
