Ratings and reviews

It's great if you're a viewer, but it's super lacking if you're a streamer. There's a LOT that you still have to do on your computer because you can't access it on mobile. It's also not a very intuitive app, unfortunately. I hope they rework it from a streamer's perspective at some point. Or make a separate one for your dashboard and analytics and stuff.

The recent update is worse overall. I'd prefer the browse live channels tab format, but it doesn't filter my not interested categories. I've had issues with VODs, including ads that get stuck on pause, and video will sometimes jump back to a previous time or reset back to the beginning. Reminder: If you subscribe, use the website. It costs more on the app because Google takes a cut.

Redesign is terrible. I disabled auto play so now the feed instead shows a weeks old thumbnail from whatever stream. Opening a stream from the feed loads the wrong channel half the time if it plays at all. The UI reflows seconds after rendering which makes you tap on a story instead of the followed channels button as a way to inflate metrics. Chat breaks when the screen rotates or locks. No way to view followed categories. Following categories does not work at all. Terrible app.
