With this BMI Calculator, calculate your Body Mass Index easily based on your height and body weight. According to World Health Organization, Body Mass Index (BMI) is a simple index of weight-for-height that is commonly used to classify underweight, overweight and obesity in adults. It is defined as the weight in kilograms divided by the square of the height in metres (kg/m2).
For adults over 20 years old, BMI falls into one of the following classifications:
-Severe Thinness
-Moderate Thinness
-Mild Thinness
-Normal
-Pre-Obese
-Obesity Class I
-Obesity Class II
-Obesity Class III
For adults, BMI values are age-independent and the same for both sexes.
Values provided by this application are only for informational purposes; and should not be used for diagnostic or medical evaluation.
