quick and accurate look ups, been using bookScouter a couple years now and honestly the only problems I have is sometimes books will hold value but when scanned it labels the book "currently not buying". Other times will give quoted prices under wrong ISBN(mainly happens on looseleaf editions and copies with multiple isbns . other than double checking your money which should do anyway thank you bookScouter for making a hectic process that much easier. most definitely would recommend 5 star app

I just started using this, but I've been hoping for OCR in a book scanner for as long as I've been selling to World of Books (Ziffit and SellBackYourBook). The fact that this has OCR is amazing, and worth 5 stars by itself. Then it searches a bunch of book buyers at once? Excellent. The only thing left is to offer (for an extra charge of course) the option to ship all of the books to you and have you sort and resell them to the buyers. But that could get hairy. What you offer now is outstanding.

This is a useful tool. I know some of the reviews complain about low prices but they evidently don't understand that this just checks all buyers to match them up and that there is not a big resell market for a lot of fiction. I have found some 60.00 books at thrift stores using this app! However lately it freezes up and searches forever with working. Happens regularly, on Wifi or data. It just isn't connecting. Very frustrating. Used to be much better...what's going on?
