Ratings and reviews

Horrible experience with Airbnb. They offer a scam insurance. When you reach out to them they are useless. Hopefully everything goes smooth because if it doesn't they will just say sorry. Not using this service for any bookings. Do not recommend. Stay away. Double check cancelation fees because they keep most of your money. Just book from a place directly.

I tried to rent an apartment, but the app has this stupid "security" protocol that prevents individuals from renting apartments. One top of that, they don't just come out and say it, rather you have to waste time figuring out why your reservation won't go through. This was my first time using AirBnB, and my last. I deleted the app because it would not simply facilitate the transaction that I was interested in.

Horrible customer service. My host cancelled my reservation (I made months in advance) the day before check-in. Airbnb support tried to help find a place, everything is so much more $, and I made reservations for the place we were going that was nonrefundable. The rep had me do an instant book, but failed to tell me I can't use a coupon afterwards. So I had to pay more money in order not to lose out on money and time, I was extremely inconvenienced and it wasn't even my fault. Never again.
