Access your BMO InvestorLine Self-Directed and adviceDirect accounts using your existing Client ID or your BMO Nesbitt Burns portfolio using your online Gateway ID.

Get an aggregated view of your InvestorLine or Nesbitt Burns holdings and account details with Portfolio View and set up custom watchlists to monitor stocks and market trends you want to follow.

Use Fingerprint Biometrics to access your accounts with ease and improved security.

For InvestorLine Self-Directed and adviceDirect clients:
Place trades, move money and get a snapshot of your holdings and investments. Quickly trade your stocks, ETFs, and mutual funds. adviceDirect clients can access personalized buy and sell recommendations with 24/7 account monitoring.

For Nesbitt Burns clients:
Sign up to view statements, tax documents and trade confirmations online. Choose to be alerted by email when a new document is available.

You must be registered with BMO InvestorLine to use the BMO Invest app to access your InvestorLine Self-Directed or adviceDirect accounts. Simply sign on to BMO InvestorLine with your Client ID to get started. If you are not registered with BMO InvestorLine, visit www.bmo.com/investorline .

You must register for and access Gateway online via www.bmo.com to use the BMO Invest app to access your Nesbitt Burns portfolio. Your Nesbitt Burns Investment Advisor can help you get set up or contact the Gateway Helpdesk gateway.helpdesk@bmonb.com.

It works mostly well but there are features on the website that are missing here. Also SMS is terrible security when traveling and I don't have access to my Canadian phones. OTP or email options would be possible solutions (The website also). Edit: To address your response, setting up an multiple Int'l numbers is impractical having to call in each time. Most of the time I don't even get a sim, I just use an internet phone number which bmo doesn't support.

You are able to temporarily add an international number to the two-step verification in order to receive a code while travelling. The app hasn't been working for the last two hours. It keeps telling me to change password. I did. It still tells me to change password..It's working now. All is good.

Latest update broke biometric authentication. Can't enable it; it says you need to enable "trust this device" when you login, but there is no way to do that! UPDATE: Uninstall, reinstall, prompt this time for text verification, "trust this device" is available there. Customers should not have to jump through hoops to take an update.
