A friendly turtle will be your guide as you feed and grow fish, unlock new ocean environments, complete fish events, and restore balance by releasing adult fish into the greater ocean. Collect underwater plants and coral to decorate your ocean reef and marvel as it transforms into a breathtaking ocean aquarium bustling with captivating fish species. Splash: Fish Sanctuary features a wide variety of fish species that have been carefully researched to capture the distinctive appearance and behavior of real-life fish in the ocean.

Document your fish discoveries in the Aquapedia, and learn exciting facts about the fish you collect. There are popular aquarium fish such as Clownfish (spot Nemo in your reef!), along with other ocean species like starfish, jellyfish, sharks, and many other sea creatures. Splash features nearly all of Fishdom!

Capture photographs of the amazing fish in your collection, take part in events to collect new fish species and underwater decorations, and connect with friends to exchange gifts for your ocean reefs! great, if only it kept working. this game keeps resetting my progress, but never exactly all the way back. a species I've successfully thrived? nah, no longer. a new species I've unlocked? also somehow lost to the ether. also, all the resources I spent to thrive that species (that's now been reset)? gone too! why can't this game's saving work? it's so frustrating.

Honestly, it's fun at first! You get a few different species of fish and whatnot. But after, say, a week it drastically slows down. As you get further the drop rate is just insane. Just released 6 of a species and the drop rate is 41% for the item for that fish. Got 0. Now I'm at a standstill with that species. Can't get further unless you're willing to spend money, and quite a bit of it I might add. The cash in this game is ridiculously expensive. Events are.. okay. But needs so much work.

There is a calming element to this.. no rush, no goal, just collect fish and enjoy the scenery. There isn't much more than that though so it really just depends what you're looking for. It benefits progress to check in multiple times a day but on the other hand you don't loose much if you don't. Personally, I like games that don't take over your life so I'll keep this one for a while.
