I was looking for a way to manage my music library, this is not it. it uses AI to organize your music and decide what you listen to. And it's the only arrow in its quiver. you can't really browse your library, and everything is ridiculously time consuming to set up if you attempt to avoid the AI. love Plex, paid for the lifetime subscription when it was not on sale . not happy with plexamp.

Great music player for your personal home library. Plex has built a great app here. It's far more customizable than anything I've previously used. For context, I've used Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube Music, and Amazon Music. Both Amazon and Apple, I even used the paid versions. I just love having that control over the player so I can tune the experience just the way I want and play the music in just the quality I want.

The battery usage issue got fixed, so this is possibly the best choice for streaming your own music, though you will want to do that from your own server. It wasn't seamless to do, but it works well configured as it is (gotta put your app database on the external drive if using a Raspberry Pi, so do that as soon as you've installed the server). I'd love to see all track lists (including in queues and playlists) show the play time of the song.

- When creating smart playlist, clarify that we're doing so.
- In some cases, downloaded items could end up displaying as empty.
- Downloading shared smart playlists with some filters could result in no tracks being downloaded.
- When downloading smart playlists under 5 hours of duration, only an hour at most would be downloaded.
- Android Auto: Don't reload screen when going offline/online.
- DSD files weren't playing gaplessly with strict sample rate matching.
