Batteries have a limited lifespan. Every time you charge your device, it wears out the battery, lowering its total capacity.

📊 BATTERY USE
 
Accu​Battery measures the actual battery usage using information from the battery charge controller. Battery usage per app is determined by combining these measurements with information on which app is in the foreground. Android calculates battery usage using pre-baked profiles that device manufacturers provide, like how much power the CPU uses. In practice however, these numbers tend to be highly inaccurate.

Ratings and reviews

Works as it should, has very helpful explanations for more complicated statistics and really helps keeping the battery in great condition. There is an option to pay for the app, but you can choose the amount, starting at a very sensible price. The free version has some ads, but they never get in the way, don't make you wait for X amount of seconds, etc. It's more a banner here and there. Really appreciate that! Overall I'd fully recommend this app to anyone interested in optimising battery life.

It's probably the most accurate charge notifier out there but I can't seem to find actual alarm setting for charging. It has notification settings but I don't want to just be notified because it only alerts once and can easily be missed. It needs to have proper alarm. Maybe it's there but if it can't easily be found then it needs to be reworked to be more discoverable.

Installed app a week ago, and charged my phone several times from the 1% at which the phone automatically turns off. This morning I allowed auto switch off, and then connected the charger. On the "Charge" pane, the app shows the most recent charging to be 5 days ago, and other data is missing and/or incorrect. I want to charge optimally between from 20% to 80%. I want timing data to show me how long the charge should take using my current charger. App is overcomplicated and inaccurate.
