It is awesome how Duolingo manages to do all others do for free. Lingodeer was once its competition when it comes to japanese, but now they care more about money instead of teaching (which seems to be the opposite to duolingo, who now also supports japanese). Gave it 5 stars, but a move like this just deserves 1. I don't expect you to work for free, I expect you to try better thwn duolingo, just improve over them. That's it, I'll just learn from native japanese Youtubers, who do it for free.

A solid 10/10, perfect in every aspect. Very easy to use, and easy to understand as well. And the Deer is adorable. The only thing I would add is pronunciation for the Kanji section of the Japanese lessons, cause sometimes I won't remember a hiragana and I have to go all the way back to the alphabet and review the entire lesson, which I get it might be the point, but it feels like an unnecessary hassle.

I love lingodeer. It has much better grammar explanation than duolingo or any other app. And i like you can buy it forever, not a subscription. I love recording and comparing my pronunciation with the native speaker. And while i haven't gotten to all the advanced stuff i want to test myself on yet, it seems to have the testing of conjugations that i was seeking! I wanted something that presented all the options of a conjugation and asks you to pick the correct one. Very happy with lingodeer.
