Availability and Medisafe Premium
In the United States, Medisafe is free to download and use, with Medisafe Premium available as an optional subscription.

Outside the United States, Medisafe includes a 14-day free trial. After the trial ends, users must purchase a subscription to continue using the app.

Medisafe Premium includes unlimited medications, unlimited Medfriends, access to more than 20 health measurements, and the choice of a dozen reminder sounds.

Subscriptions purchased through Google Play automatically renew unless canceled. You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Google Play account, in accordance with Google Play’s subscription terms and policies.

Ratings and reviews

I used this app since it's early days, it's very disappointing to see they have moved to a subscription based model. One of the main reasons I used this was how it syncs with my partners accounts to see if I took my meds, but this hasn't been working great either now. I don't recommend this app anymore. I am moving onto other alternative apps which does the same thing and it's free.

Update: notifications now not working. Two things that would improve it a lot. Being able to set a timer for a med -ie :i have one that needs to taken 4 hours apart from when I wake up. But if I wake up early or late, I have try to remember or calculate times each day. It would be good to set x times a day, x times apart. Second thing is how the notification takes up the whole screen when it goes off, no matter what's happening. Very dangerous when driving, frustrating other times

I used to love this app, recommended it to all my chronically ill friends. But with the recent UI change I can't. Refill reminders no longer get summarised under Updates, which makes it hard to quickly check what I need to refill when I have 15+ medications. Weekly Reports don't seem to have an option to turn them off. Let me turn off the "reminder" in Updates for making an appointment and health trackers.
