FairEmail is simple to use, but if you are looking for a very simple email app, FairEmail might not be the right choice.

FairEmail is an email client only, so you need to bring your own email address. FairEmail is not a calendar/contact/task/note manager and cannot make you coffee.

FairEmail does not support non-standard protocols, like Microsoft Exchange Web Services and Microsoft ActiveSync.

Almost all features are free to use, but to maintain and support the app in the long term, not every feature can be for free. See below for a list of pro features.

Ratings and reviews

FairEmail does what it says on the box. The setup wizard is easy to use and I had my multiple email accounts up and running in minutes! The advanced interface is a little daunting but you don't need to be there other than setting the primary account and default view, changing the background colours or setting the biometrics. So far so good...

It has, for some reason, been incredibly hard for me find an android email app that supports custom domains and has the (fairly simple) options I want and doesn't break randomly. FairEmail, finally, is that app. Setup was very easy, the flexibility and functionality is amazing, and it's free AND doesn't have 'freemium' things like inline ads. Amazing. It is totally usable without the pro features but I also bought them pretty much straight away to help support actual good software.

Very powerful and flexible. I was looking for a more privacy conscious mail client, this is perfect. Heaps and heaps of options and you can set it up so many ways. I was disappointed by the lack of visual controls for look and feel. There were themes which were okay but looked blocky and aged. I also found it hard to cleanly identify mail from different email accounts that was not glaring. The mail widget is mostly good but could use a bit of spit and polish. Hope to give 5 stars in the future.
