Ratings and reviews

Games are fun, sure. But the app essentially pushes you into paying for it with "discounts" and even then the price is not worth what you get. There is no setting to change notification type or frequency. I want one notification a day to remind me to play my daily games, not 5+.

After day 1 I was ready to give this 5 stars. Fun games that also feel stimulating, easy to use app and good instructions before the games. Limited to 3 games per day for free or you can pay for premium to unlock more, that's pretty standard for brain training apps. But then day 2 the ads start, and you can't play a single game without watching an unstoppable ad. No thanks, there's plenty of apps doing the same without ads. You pay to unlock features, not to remove ads. Very disappointed.

I played 1 game and was offered a "discount" to make the app ad free right away for about $30/year. I chose not to take it and then I played a few levels in 3 different games. The 3rd game was a sorting game. Impulse wanted to keep me playing this game. It set challenges of "beating my peers" but once I hit the challenge it added another with the same game. There were ads after every 2 games and I got tired of it. I didn't get a chance to see if I liked impulse because the ads are so frequent.
