Ratings and reviews

The new app is slow and clumsy. And all those tranparency effects over a tartan background get old very quickly and leave you with an UI harder to read. The old app might have been dated, but it did its job much better. Also the registration tries to force you to pay for a subscription, and on top of that they want to verify you for £30. I recommend people register on the desktop version. The greed is strong with this app which relies on 1000s of people offering a place to stay for FREE.

I honestly prefer the old UI design. The new design feels less user-friendly, especially the way photos are displayed. Landscape photos are often cropped into portrait format, so you can't see the full picture. Since many people choose their photos carefully, this makes them look much worse than before. So, i really hope you'll consider bringing back the old design or improve it

I used to love the Hangouts feature, but sadly, nobody uses it anymore. The main reason is that there is no longer a way to add a description of what you actually want to do! Without a custom status (like "grab a coffee," "visit a museum," or "go for a hike"), you're just looking at a list of people with zero context. It’s awkward and inefficient to connect with someone without knowing if your plans or interests align. Please bring back the ability to write a short

Chats got a glow-up! Messages now show sent, delivered, and read status. Reactions have fun animations, the text area expands as you type, and photo sharing is fixed. The Library menu adds a Profile Tour, and empty screens now show helpful carousels. A new image viewer makes browsing photos a pleasure.
