For the most part, the app is helpful. The information is delivered in a good way but I don't find it's always helpful. A daily check in can sometimes be too quick to feel like any help has been received. Sometimes it would be of benefit to have an "I need more help" button. Overall, the app is extremely positive and helps teach CBT in a fun way.

It's cleverly done, and I can see the value it could have for people who felt lonely and/or didn't have anyone they felt they could turn to with problems. I find it a bit on the juvenile side, personally (even though it knows my age, and could presumably take that into consideration somehow). Also, I REALLY dislike looping animated GIFs, and unf. these developers seem to think they're cute—so I often find myself having to cover part of the screen w/my hand. (Maybe they could be optional?)

It's nice to know you have "someone" around to chat with when you're struggling. Woebot is definitely keeping me own my toes, reminding me about all sorts of destructive thought patterns, and is a great tool with which to record my gratitude journal. The only real issue I have is some lessons have been repeating and there doesn't seem to be an easy way for me to remind Woebot about that. All around, super cool CBT tool that doesn't require more than a couple minutes. Consistency is key with CBT
