Ratings and reviews

Constant Fees, listed a $500 auction and it asked if I wanted to set a reserve price, didn't say anything about charging you before it sells. Got 15 buyers on Facebook marketplace, got none on ebay and they charged me a $41 non-refundable listing fee. This is my 3rd time using ebay over the past 8 years, every time I left it was for stupid listing fees even when the item doesn't sell. Just use marketplace waste of time and money

After my previous review was very negative, I have changed my position. Recently AliExpress has changed their business model and now most of the cosplay that I would purchase from there, are gone. eBay now has most of what I need. My problem is the pricing. Everything is WAY over priced, especially the shipping. On AliExpress, shipping is 10-15 from China to Canada. On eBay, it's $60+ just to get something from within Canada. So in short: Better selection, but double the price.

When I list an item, the shipping options only cover $100 for insurance, with no way to raise it, even for a phone worth far more. I can only add extra insurance and signature confirmation after the sale, which comes out of what little profit is left and makes net profit almost impossible to calculate up front. Let sellers choose full value coverage and signature confirmation when creating the listing, and show the real net profit from the start.
