For MyDrive, I am suspecting that one road I often drive on has some unique characteristics that trigger all of the flags. It is annoying not to know what triggered them, especially when it says I was using the phone. I was insane enough to log the internal phone data for the accelerometer with GPS, and the peak for some of the events was just ~0.35 m/s² (not in G force), yet it was deemed too harsh braking or accelerating.

The app requires full access (idk why), and also drains battery so much. Despite enabling all & reinstalling the app a few times, not all trips are recorded. I manually open the app to record too, but to no use. If ur walking between trips or even if you touch the phone during drive, it is registered as phone usage. Driving safe shows as not smooth driving. My premium didn't reduce bcos they couldn't get a lot of driving data from this app. Very poorly built app or a scam for premiums.

Not great, but not bad. The app is meant to run in the background and log your trips automatically, but I keep getting notifications by email stating: "We've noticed that at least one of the principal drivers on your policy number XXX hasn't logged a trip in the Intact Insurance App in a while. This could affect your insurance premium at renewal..." I follow the tips and all that too. But alot of my trips don't get logged still. If the app affects my premium I'm going to be mad.
