Amazing app, great selection, especially for Asian languages! It has the perfect blend of grammer lessons/insights, native language speaking clips, and opportunities to practice speaking all with a gamified delivery. That said, this is best paired with a dedicated speaking app, as the speaking options are self-assessed. I'm currently using it for Korean, but downloaded it years ago (initially for Japanese and Spanish). So, I've found the lifetime subscription highly valuable.

Doing the Russian course as an English speaker. The lessons are useful and well-sequenced. The voices are delightful. Sometimes they have minor mic issues but it doesn't affect comprehensibility. Occasionally the exercises have minor errors like two of the same answer and only one is correct but it's easy to report there and they seem to be actively fixing them.One minor issue is they don't blend the review flash cards from different courses in the same series, so it might get compartmentalized.

The grammar explanations are excellent, it will really help down the road, especially since the sentence structure is so different from English (Korean). Way better than Duolingo, I feel like I am closer to speaking than I ever was. Worth the price tag for the year I am using it all the time.
