Okta Verify is a lightweight app that allows you to securely access your apps via 2-step verification, ensuring that you, and only you, can access your app accounts.

While you access your apps, you'll choose a 2-step verification method provided by Okta Verify to finish signing in. You can verify your identity using a push notification sent to your device (if enabled by your organization), a temporary 6-digit code, or biometrics (if enabled by your organization).

We do request permission to use your device camera so that you can scan a QR code when you enroll your device with Okta.

The app no longer works properly on my Android device. It gets stuck on the loading logo screen and does nothing unless I restart my phone. This has made it extremely frustrating to use, especially since my workplace relies on Okta for login. To make matters worse, the support email no longer works, and I’ve been unable to get help from anyone at Okta. Judging by recent reviews, other Android users are having the same issue, but there’s been no communication or resolution. Extremely disappointed

Okta FastPass is fundamentally broken and just doesn't work, even when the incredibly annoying "Sign in faster" notification is being displayed. I have a Pixel 7 Pro with the latest version of both Android and the Okta app. I've tried using both Chrome and Firefox and neither work with FastPass. When Okta thinks you want to use FastPass to sign in, it won't let you use the other sign-in options that actually work. If your company is thinking of using Okta, DON'T. It doesn't work.

One of the most annoying and redundant app a school has ever forced me to download. If I wish to use an alternative device other than my laptop. It give a some random reason why it cannot. I have a life outside of school, and I can't constantly go to an admin just so I can log in and do my work. This app just feeds into the unnecessary use of "secruity" when most of these people can't even keep a group of highschool drop outs from hacking them. I'd write more, but I'm limited to 500 characters.
