The kids really like the game, it is hard to incentivize them to use it, even with paid subscription. The excitement of "being a member" wore off quick. It's very nice that it works at the child's grade level. The option to listen to the question was very glitchy though, so my not so strong reader in gr 1 got very frustrated that they had to keep coming and asking for help.

Disappointed Fast! My 11 yr old started off w/ great enthusiasm however; that was short lived. After approx. 3 hours of total game play, non memberbership players are blocked from too many in-game benefits; ie: caughting evolved pets. This is very disappointing to a child. In my opinion, this is not necessarily as there are other benefits that membership players already get. I don't find the set up/account management user friendly. I set up an 2nd account in error; there is no option to delete.

A really popular MMO-style online RPG that involves math is now ported into your mobile device, instead of the website version that most people are used to. It's not that the game itself is bad - noting that Prodigy really implements middle-school math into video games very well, with the whole RPG thing being very interesting aswell - it's just that there isn't much of a difference from the website. The controls are only slightly more difficult to manager than on a web browser.
