Really manipulative monetization. Algorithm paywalls individuals you would match best with. This is an app that targets the queer community, but is not an ally. edit: they replied to my review with actual lies so it just goes to show they dont gaf or dont understand their own product. if someone looks at your profile too long, or is particularily popular, theyre highlighted on your feed. at which point, you cannot match with them without paying. you cant swipe until they come up naturally.

A creepy app with a terrible free experience. Taimi locks peoples entire accounts behind a paywall, seemingly having some algorithm or "ai" going through accounts to select conventionally attractive accounts to lock. I doubt they pay the person when they extort money to even attempt to match with them. In addition, it's pretty tough to find anything on here without paying full price. hard pass.

Warning to trans women. I'll, first of, say that the app itself isn't bad; I am constantly getting unblurred matches and have had a ton of likes and messages. however, there in lies the problem. I am a trans woman, and have been sexualized as an object of a kink by 99% of those likes and messages. Every one is either experimenting or have a disturbingly deep kink for trans women. Frankly a bit disturbed every time I get a notification from this app and am remembering why I deleted it before.
