Welcome to myVW, a drive-changing app with connected services from VW Car-Net®.¹ Enjoy a connected drive with Remote Access and more, whether you're right next to your vehicle or kilometers away.

Features:

• Keep tabs on your car when someone else is driving with vehicle alerts through the Family Guardian Features, including speeds alerts, curfew alerts, valet alerts and boundary alerts.³

Electric Vehicle owners will be able to:

• Start and stop battery charging
• Manage charge and battery settings
• Remotely access climate control

Subscription is required. myVW services require vehicle cellular connectivity and availability of vehicle GPS signal; certain services may collect location information. Always pay careful attention to the road, and do not drive while distracted.

myVW is available on most model year 2022 vehicles and newer.

Ratings and reviews

After having this vehicle for 2 years, the recent update has finally allowed me to connect to my car. I thought it was fixed until I realized that the only function that works is the ability to remotely honk/flash the lights. I still only get errors when trying to remote start or unlock the car - you know, the major reasons an app is required! So at the moment, the app is still utterly useless. Come on, VW, fix this garbage!

Kind of works, but if you compare it to other manufacturers apps the VW version is essentially useless. Would expect the app to be less glitchy or to not reset settings every time you open it. There is a button for climate control that doesn't work ever (very basic climate control, just the temperature and ventilation, no control for heated seats, steering wheel etc.) it also tells me the doors are unlocked when they aren't, gps doesn't work, should be able to unlock/lock doors.

Brand new vehicle and this app never works on the first try. It is nice when it finally starts the car, but more often than not it doesnt work and it is frustrating. Every time I use the app to lock/unlock or start the car, I have to try it atleast twice, if not more to get it to work. Yet again, the app is no longer connecting to the car, even though I am paying for Roger's wif. I cannot find any answers to these issues either. I have deleted the app and reinstalled it. It kinda sucks!
