You can't insert signatures or hyperlinks mobile. The app on my smartphone always opens with the empty outbox of my main account. To fix it, I uninstalled the app, deleted all cookies, tried other things, nothing worked. Notifications don't work. The app works on laptop, but for mobile you should consider alternatives. On desktop version, I have no idea how to search for a mail. On the smartphone there is a search icon, but no similar option on the desktop version. I'll look for another mail app

Thanks for your feedback and one of our main priorities is to bring more parity between the desktop features and the Android app! We're sorry for any frustration, and we hope you follow our updates at roadmaps.thunderbird.net and make suggestions at connect.mozilla.org!z

If you're looking for an experience identical to Thunderbird on the desktop, this is unfortunately not what this app offers. It's an updated version of K9-Mail, which works ok an has most of the features you need every day, however it is not nearly as feature-rich as Thunderbird on the desktop. On the plus side: importing from the desktop worked great, and PGP encryption is supported.

So far it has been a smooth experience. I valued a lot the possibility to simply export the configuration from the Thunderbird desktop client, it really made my life easier. I'm just missing some features, like using a different color per account or adding an email signature. Edit: It turns out you can actually change the color and the signature. In settings, if you select a specific account, you access account specific settings. Thanks for pointing this out, I didn't notice before!

Thank you so much for your review, and we're glad to hear it's been a smooth experience! You can set up a non-HTML signature in Account Settings > Sending Mail > Composition defaults, and upvote a suggestion to include HTML signatures on Mozilla Connect! https://connect.mozilla.org/t5/ideas/k-9-mail-html-sign/idi-p/71065
