Good Service, Terrible app. While I'm enjoying using the service with my custom domain and the web application is really good, this app is just bad. It's overcrowded, labels don't display well on the email list and overall the app feels very dated. I've decided to use a third party client instead. I can't even keep the app installed, as even after removing notifications from both the apps internal settings and my phone, it continues to display a notification badge on each new email. Not good.

I have been using Fastmail for some years now and the addition of offline capability in Android is the reason I have switched to it from my current app. Having mail / calendar / contacts in one app is a must. But the single biggest weakness is a lack of contact integration with Android. The contacts need to be available as an account in the phone so they are available to navigation and other apps. Stove-piping them keeps me using DavX5. Which fortunately works fine but shouldn't be needed.

Decent app, but clearly not designed for mobile. There's no calendar widget. UI could really use a coat of paint with to match latest Android UI. The app may not be very good, but Fastmail as a service is exceptional. I hope they'll improve the app at some point.
