Ratings and reviews

The type of device/OS you're using will determine whether your experience is good or bad. On Android, this is at best average. File import/TTS work with local Android voices. Can't get Microsoft Azure to work even with the correct API key, region. I can see the voices, but never works. I also tried on an iPhone with the same API key and it worked. Something is wrong with the Android app and connecting to Azure. Also, iOS has Google AI setup options. I can't rate this higher until Azure is fixed.

I've used it for yrs to get thru my grad degree. Used to work great. Simple, reliable, had the features I need. With the updates, the settings were lost. Needed to reset the voice, and it kept randomly changing when I edited settings. It used to highlight track, yellow word on blue text -- can't figure out how to re-enable that. Doesn't look possible. When you have a disability, it's very discombobulating to hit play to get your work done and things aren't functioning as previously setup.

It is very easy to use and figure out. The only problem is that no matter how good the picture is, simple words are converted wrong. Most of the "m" were changed to "rn" instead. You can edit what was scanned when you take a picture. However, that defeats the purpose of having something read to you. Also, no matter what voice you choose, it keeps changing. You can use the app for free, though,(not a trial before you pay), so that is amazing!!!
